The Luxe Approach to Facial Rejuvenation

What Are Dermal Fillers?

Hyaluronic Acid Fillers

The use of hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers can eliminate wrinkles, plump and hydrate lips, replace soft-tissue volume loss, raise scar depressions, and volumize creases and folds of the face. As we age, our skin becomes more susceptible to wrinkles and fine lines, mainly due to sun damage and muscle movement. Facial hyaluronic fillers provide a solution to such damage through facial injections. Hyaluronic acid fillers can last between 6 to 9 months, depending on how fast your metabolism is and how much product you need.

Bio-Stimulating Fillers

Bio-stimulation dermal fillers stimulate the production of collagen in the skin long after the treatment has taken place. This much sought-after effect is achieved using particles known as Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres. This means that, instead of relying on hyaluronic acid products to plump up the skin (the way traditional fillers work), bio-stimulation dermal fillers take a more natural approach to skin rejuvenation. Not only can it be used to correct volume deficit in the face, it is also a great treatment for hand rejuvenation. The resultant volume lasts over a year, making this treatment perfect for those of you who want a longer-term result. We carry Sculptra & Radiesse bio-stimulating fillers.

Treatment Options

What Is the Dermal Filler Procedure Like?

Each filler treatment is customized using FDA-approved dermal filler products, primarily hyaluronic acid fillers and other soft tissue fillers such as calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) and poly-L-lactic acid, based on your goals and unique facial structure. Whether you're looking to smooth lines, lift sagging skin, or enhance your lips, our team delivers subtle, beautiful results with an unwavering focus on ethics and expertise.

Your appointment will begin with a consultation to discuss your goals and map out optimal injection sites based on your facial anatomy. The injections themselves typically take anywhere from 15-45 minutes depending on the size and number of treatment areas. A numbing cream can be applied beforehand, and many dermal fillers contain lidocaine for added comfort. Most patients find the dermal filler treatment very tolerable.

Refresh the Features You Love

What Are the Benefits of Dermal Fillers?

Dermal fillers offer a nonsurgical approach to facial rejuvenation, with instant, noticeable results. These FDA-approved, outpatient procedures are designed to enhance your natural beauty without altering your core features. Injectable fillers have the ability to smooth lines, restore lost volume, and define key facial structures such as the lips or jawline.

Because most fillers are made from biocompatible substances like hyaluronic acid or synthetic polymers, they integrate seamlessly into your skin. Patients love that results are both immediate and subtle, providing a more refreshed, youthful appearance without an “overdone” look.

Elevated Enhancements

Am I a Candidate for Dermal Fillers?

Most healthy adults are candidates for filler injections. Ideal patients are those looking to smooth wrinkles, restore facial volume, or enhance specific facial features without surgery. However, filler treatments may not be recommended for individuals with severe allergies, active skin infections, or certain autoimmune conditions. We also avoid treatment in areas with compromised blood supply or risk of vascular occlusion to minimize serious adverse events such as skin necrosis.

Before any dermal filler procedure, we perform a full consultation to assess your medical history, facial anatomy, and aesthetic goals. Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities.

The Perfect Fit for Any Schedule

Dermal Filler Recovery

Dermal filler injections are considered a low-downtime procedure. Most patients return to normal activities the same day, although mild swelling, redness, or tenderness at the injection site may occur. Bruising is possible, especially in areas with thinner skin like the lips or under eyes.

Aftercare instructions include avoiding strenuous activity, excessive sun exposure, and certain medications like oral antibiotics or blood thinners for 24–48 hours. Our providers offer clear aftercare guidance for every patient to help minimize side effects and ensure optimal results.

Dermal Filler Results

The results of dermal fillers are visible almost immediately after treatment, though full settling may take up to 2 weeks. Depending on the type of filler used and the treatment area, results can last anywhere from 6 to 18 months. Products like poly-L-lactic acid fillers and CaHA may also stimulate your own collagen for longer-lasting benefits.

Follow-up appointments are included to address any asymmetry from swelling. Over time, repeat treatments help maintain a smooth, youthful appearance with consistently natural-looking outcomes.

Dermal Filler Frequently Asked Questions

The facial fillers used at LUXE Med Spa are made from hyaluronic acid. The use of fillers can eliminate wrinkles, plump and hydrate lips, replace soft-tissue volume loss, raise scar depressions, and volumize creases and folds of the face. As we age, our skin becomes more susceptible to wrinkles and fine lines, especially due to sun damage and muscle movement. Facial fillers provide a solution to such damage through facial injections.

Because everyone’s needs are different, and with such a wide variety of treatments involving filler, a personal consultation is the best way to establish cost. With that in mind, filler treatments start at $675 a syringe. This cost not only reflects the price of the product, but also the skill, knowledge and expertise of the medical injector. We do not price match.

Results are visible immediately after treatment. The healing process then begins, which involves swelling for about 3-7 days, depending on the amount of filler injected, the treatment area, and how your body reacts to the procedure. The product then settles, and you’ll enjoy your final results about 2-3 weeks after injections. Please allow at least 2 weeks before any events or vacations to avoid residual bruising and swelling.

Longevity differs from person to person and from treatment to treatment. Because the product is being injected into the body, some bodies may metabolize the product faster than others. See below for average longevity based on treatment:

  • Cheek Filler: 9-18 months
  • Under Eye Filler: 6-18 months
  • Lip Filler: 6-12 months
  • Hand Filler: 9-18 months
  • Lower Face Filler: 9-18 months
  • Jawline Filler: 9-18 months
  • Chin Augmentation: 9-18 months
  • Nasolabial Fold (Smile/Laugh Lines) Filler: 6-12 months
  • Earlobe Filler: 9-18 months
  • Temple Filler: 6-12 months

Facial fillers are a temporary solution, and therefore to maintain results, treatments will need to be administered on a recurring basis (see longevity info above).

You can return to most of your regular activities right away. However, because bruising is possible, plan to schedule your treatment at least two weeks ahead of any special events or vacations.
