Cosmetic neuromodulators are injectable medications derived from botulinum toxin type A, a purified protein that temporarily relaxes the muscles responsible for forming wrinkles. During your appointment, we will cleanse the area prior to injection and may apply a topical anesthetic if needed. Your provider will then make a series of small, precise neurotoxin injections into the injection site using a very fine needle.
Most patients describe only a slight pinch and experience little to no discomfort during injectable treatments. The entire procedure usually takes 10 to 20 minutes. You’ll be free to return to most normal activities right away, though we recommend avoiding facial massage, heavy exercise, or lying down for 4 hours after the procedure to ensure product placement remains optimal.
New tox clients at Luxe Med Spa Aesthetics receive a 2-week follow-up for their tox. At that follow-up appointment, we reassess to ensure you received the result you wanted. If any more units are needed at that time, we will touch up at no extra cost. Then, moving forward, we know your dosage, and a follow-up will no longer be needed.

Dysport and Jeuveau are both used to treat and prevent wrinkles, fine lines, and deep facial furrows. By working beneath the surface, Dysport and Jeuveau help reduce the underlying muscle activity that causes the skin to appear wrinkled or folded.
